Typical security installation plan involves the following:
[floorplan image coming soon]
Full High Definition cameras will be used on the premise. Our technician will inspect your property and understand all the communal and common areas that require constant surveillance.
Depending on the size of the retirement village, a mix of dome and bullet cameras will be used around the premise to provide maximum vantage point coverage of all areas that residents, visitors and staff will frequently traffic.
Some retirement village residents enjoy the idea of a dome camera fixed on their own individual units. Please discuss with the technician if your residents have this requirement as we will need to evaluate installation procedures for each surveillance system.
We treat retirement villages security installations the same as when we are tendered to provide security surveillance solutions in public areas. Thus, our technicians are equipped in providing the right suggestions to secure your properties.
All CCTV packages come equipped with the full surveillance system and monitors. As retirement villages are quite large in project nature, we will customise your solution and present a package that includes all necessary equipment to be installed.
An alarm system can be installed per individual residential unit or for individual facility centres. Please discuss with our technician what is the best fit for your centre’s requirements and risk protection level require.
Video intercoms are commonly a must-have for all retirement villages as it provides elderly residents the extra security control between themselves and guests. These systems can be installed as a central intercom system as part of the retirement village, or as separate residential units.
There are several uses for access control systems. While traditionally, access control allows staff to control storeroom and facility access, some retirement village opt for individual access control installations per residential unit. This allows members to enter their unit without the need for a physical key that can become lost or misplaced.
Other notes to take into account for the installation process
While our team are trained to install our security equipment in all types of building structures, these are the common issues we encounter when performing an onsite inspection. So please advise on the phone with our sales representative if any of the following meets your situation, so we can draw up the most efficient way to install your security system with minimal time delays and disruptions to your business.
>Please let us know if you have suspended ceilings or a concrete ceiling. Also, please let us know if your walls are also gyprock or solid cement.
> If your premises do not have a manhole for our technician to perform cabling and wiring requirements in the ceiling or roof of your business, you may need to budget an extra small fee for possible conduit or external cabling requirements
> If your premises already have cabling in place from an old security system, please let us know so we can determine if the cables and wires are available for use on the new security system. Most of the time, this is possible if the structure is relatively new. If however the old security system was installed decades ago, we may need to replace all wiring to ensure your new system works effectively on new cables and wires.
